The Food Between Us

by Yaara Yacoby

We all eat. Food gives us context through memories and histories. It gives us identity through preferences, traditions, instincts. Food is self-care and caring for others. It is a source of nourishment critical both for our physical and social survival. We create food which shapes us in return. Our food builds space around us.

In this column, I share my food space, drawing parallels with memories and histories, as well as thoughts and experiments on space creation and online connection with food as a medium.
