About

Born in the midst of the pandemic, in March 2020 by April Gao (MArch 2022) and Ginevra D’Agostino ( MArch 2022), Out of Frame(OOF) is a student-run, shape-shifting publication situated at the porous edge of architectural education. It dwells in the interstices, between institution and autonomy, practice and reflection, spatial politics and lived experience. While it orbits architecture, it refuses containment. Out of Frame gathers partial perspectives and embodied knowings: student retrospectives, situated reflections on public space, food ecologies, and the messy infrastructures of student life. It is extramural by design, editorially ungovernable, and guided by a rotating constellation of thinkers, tinkerers, and space-makers. It does not seek resolution, only richer entanglement.
