What is Black Space?

What is black space? Is there one true definition awaiting discovery? Should there be just one? These questions stem from collective interests of identity, the built environment, and cultural perception. To find oneself deeply rooted in a culture that is not fondly represented in the (professional) spaces one has chosen to occupy is to find oneself in a constant state of ambivalence. This column will hold space for reflections, ideas, and creations birthed from the ambiguity.
