Tattoos the MBTA Would Love

There is nothing I don’t love about the T. The way the subway map in no way lines up to the real life map. I love the way the Green Line trains always stop so far up in the station and make you run to catch them. I love the way that we all call it “the T” because “the train” is too hard to say. The way the train schedule has never once been accurate in your life.

All my MBTA art originated from a piece I made in high-school entitled “tag yourself as the MBTA lines” (pictured below).

I am the Green Line (obviously).

This was really the birth of my love and appreciation for the MBTA. That love has only blossomed now that I live right next to the Kenmore stop. My favorite T Line? The Green Line. My least favorite? None of them, shut up, they all have their own “je ne sais quoi.” Here are some tattoos that I think should give you free rides forever on the T.
